Upcoming events in the NYC area

Please note that this Friday (tomorrow) afternoon at 2pm, the Eighteenth-Century Interdisciplinary Group is hosting a talk in the Reading Room called "Revisiting Purley: John Horne Tooke's Logocentrism" by Dr. Brijraj Singh of Hostos Community College, CUNY. The Bard Graduate Center for Sudies in the Decorative Arts, Design, and Culture, located at 18 and 38 West 86th Stree in NYC has a series of upcoming events and programs scheduled. An exhibit entitled James "Athenian" Stuart, 1713-1788 The Rediscovery of Antiquity will take place November 16, 2006 through February 18, 2007 . On Thursday, December 7th from 6-8 pm, archaeologist and art historian Jenifer Neils will be giving a talk entitled "James 'Athenian' Stuart and the Parthenon" at the Bard Center.
